About Us

bwg_tentBadger Wilderness Guides, Inc (BWG) is an Outdoor and Experiential Education and  Support Service.

Dan Badger founded Badger Wilderness Guides began as a “guide for hire” service in Northern New England in 1999.  The initial emphasis began with mountaineering expeditions, technical rock and ice guiding, conducting workshops and collaborating with various schools, organizations and individuals domestically and abroad.  Over the years for personal and professional reasons, outings and tours began to serve as the backdrop for team building and wellness programming. In 2013, Badger Wilderness Guides, Inc reorganized as a 501 (c)3 Non-Profit Organization specializing in Outdoor and Experiential Education and Support.

BWG Programs are outdoor and experiential education workshops and expeditions designed to help individuals, groups and organizations achieve education, wellness and training objectives.  We endeavor to “Create, cultivate and support”  our clients as a facilitating methodology and template from which all programs, consultations and initiatives are driven.

We are a collection of trainers, educators and consultants with the common goal of facilitating the needs and growth of individuals, organizations and communities with our courses, workshops, custom programs and unforgetable retreats.
